Tower to Immortality
My door begins to shake from the nightly wind,
Waking me to objects that twirl and spin.
This darkened veil reveals my fears within,
Hearing total silence I'm blind to all sin.
I slowly wait for light to return to my eyes,
But my candle breaks and suddenly flies.
Voices increase in pitch as I see my door sink,
Darkness falls before I have time to blink.
A corridor widens and extends past my sight,
Where torches covered in black stone ignite.
A crimson carpet splashes upon my dress,
As I gradually climb past statues that bless.
I look behind to see roses growing forever overhead,
Spreading and forming a tangl
Carpathian MNTNS
I see the Carpathians, toppling castle floors,
Cool, crisp, clean, unadorned.
Created in fog, rolling liquid, forevermore.
A chopping, a crushing blow to peace,
Transforms my BPM
Into a Death-note feast.
Below, the Forest ripples, chained.
Soil vibrates, I laugh no more.
I wish to laugh, and smile,
And think, deeply. Somehow this should not be so.
Nothing laughs, above or below,
But a breath-lifting fog
Tips the Earth back, and rightly so.
The whispers of the Sky vault,
Hover, yet stand alone.
I taste the screams of God,
I feel His eyes, and rightly so.
All the mirrors in this Hall
Could not shine light upo

As I close my eyes,
With the peak of the highlands
Slipping further away.
My laptop stills my hand,
Artificial life,
Communication cursing the heart,
As my eyes stay in one place.
My voice doesn't carry across,
Too close to waves pounding
Overhead.
I text you within minutes,
Wishing Gaelic was a language
Option, between us, at least
Once. Someday.
The white chapel is ready, blossoming
Flowers lining a sacred walk,
As I wait and record the motions
Of the sky, like a Druid, searching
For truth. For seasonal life. Then
The chapel appears, blurry on Map Q
Isle of My Heart
The sky shines like diamonds,
I feel a breeze on my face.
The green landscape bursts of limestone,
I see only you in this place.
Here my ancestors come to life,
A passion long lost.
Where old castles scream of strife,
I can see only you as the light.
I hear an angel calling me,
Its' voice echoes past the sea.
Between light and mist I'm free,
With only you to guide me.
Frozen statues reach out,
Reminding me of eternity.
I try to run and hide,
Returning only to your side.
Night and day intertwine,
Stars start swirling before my eyes.
A chill leaves my senses blind,
While you embrace me for the last time.
